Withdrawal and Consumer Information
This page separates the free ZUHD account usage contract from a purchase of ZUHD Premium made through Google Play in the European Economic Area. No subscription can be purchased through the ZUHD website itself. The free ZUHD trial requires no payment method, triggers no payment, and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
Withdrawal from the ZUHD usage contract
The free ZUHD usage contract formed when account creation succeeds is separate from a Google Play purchase. Consumers may withdraw from this contract within 14 days from conclusion without giving a reason. Mandatory law prevails where it provides a longer period or a later start. An unambiguous statement to the ZUHD provider identified in the Terms is sufficient, in particular through the highlighted electronic function on this page, by email to [email protected], or by post to the address in the Imprint. Use of the model below is optional. Timely dispatch of the statement before the withdrawal period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline. ZUHD does not claim proportionate payment for services supplied before withdrawal under the expressly free ZUHD usage contract. Any early expiry of the withdrawal right is governed exclusively by the applicable statutory conditions and requires every advance disclosure, declaration, and confirmation prescribed by law.
Following an effective withdrawal, the user and ZUHD are no longer bound by their declarations directed at concluding the ZUHD usage contract, and the account-based services end. There is no payment to refund for the free contract. To implement account-related action safely, ZUHD may require identification of the statement with the contract and account where this is necessary and proportionate. Processing, erasure, and any exceptional continued retention of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy; account-independent procedural records, external mailbox copies, and technical backups are not all erased immediately merely by the withdrawal statement. A separate Google Play subscription is neither withdrawn nor cancelled by this step; withdrawal from or cancellation of that purchase must be addressed to Google Commerce Limited or managed through Google Play as applicable.
The electronic function applies only to the free ZUHD usage contract. It neither withdraws from nor cancels a separate Google Play subscription.
Electronic withdrawal function for the ZUHD usage contract
First select “Withdraw from contract”. Only your name, information identifying the ZUHD usage contract, and an email address for the acknowledgement are then requested. Only “Confirm withdrawal” submits the declaration. After durable acceptance, ZUHD promptly initiates delivery of the acknowledgement containing the declaration, date, time, and receipt reference to the email address provided. A failure demonstrably occurring before mail-server acceptance is retried; where the outcome is technically uncertain, an automatic duplicate is avoided and the item is marked for manual handling. Once the mail server accepts the message, it is technically sent. ZUHD cannot guarantee delivery to your inbox. Do not enter passwords or access tokens.

Use Google Play's official withdrawal form or the contact routes identified in the Google Play Terms of Service for a withdrawal declaration. Send the statement before any applicable deadline expires. The ZUHD support function on this page is not a substitute.

Contracting party and Google Play
In the European Economic Area, Content on Google Play is offered by Google Commerce Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Under the Google Play Terms of Service, purchasing or using Content through Google Play creates a separate contract with Google Commerce Limited. ZUHD provides and develops the app and remains responsible for app functionality, its own support, and its own Terms; however, Google Commerce Limited is the recipient of a statutory withdrawal from the purchase contract concluded through Google Play. The specific Google Play checkout, purchase confirmation, and applicable terms are decisive.
Withdrawal right and period
Apps, in-app content, and subscriptions may legally qualify as digital content or digital services. For digital content, the statutory withdrawal right may expire before the end of 14 days where the legally required express agreement to immediate supply and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of the right were validly obtained and confirmed before supply began. For digital services, a 14-day withdrawal period generally begins when the contract is concluded; early expiry or proportionate payment requires the applicable statutory conditions to be met. An unambiguous withdrawal declaration must be sent to Google Commerce Limited before any remaining period expires. The legal classification of the specific purchase, Google Play checkout, purchase confirmation, and applicable law are decisive.
Immediate provision and possible expiry
A withdrawal right does not expire automatically merely because the app was opened. Whether it exists or has expired for a specific Google Play purchase depends, among other things, on whether digital content or digital services are involved and which legally required declarations were validly obtained during checkout and confirmed on a durable medium. The Google Play purchase confirmation and Google Play Terms of Service document the relevant purchase contract.
Effects of an effective withdrawal
For a withdrawal validly declared to Google Commerce Limited, reimbursement is governed by the contract with Google Commerce Limited, the Google Play Terms, and applicable law. The Google Play Terms state that Google Commerce Limited generally reimburses payments received under the withdrawn contract without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the unambiguous statement; legally permissible charges for services already supplied may remain applicable. A ZUHD support confirmation is not a promise of reimbursement.
Cancellation, withdrawal, and defect rights
Cancelling automatic renewal, exercising a statutory withdrawal right, and requesting a remedy for a defect are separate processes. A subscription can be cancelled for the future in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions; cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for. Statutory rights where a service is defective, unavailable, or not as described remain unaffected.
